Last weekend we went to an art fair.  There were so many pretty things that it was hard to not buy everything.  Luckily we are crafty with the camera and snapped some shots of cute ideas so we can DIY it up at home.  There was also fresh shaken lemonade, which makes me weak in the knees.  And a make your own sand candle station where I made an ugly candle that smells surprisingly good.  It was the perfect summer day.

Today was not my day.  My hair wasn't listening, my skirt wouldn't lay flat and my mind was about 2 steps behind at all times.  It's like I slept through Monday and I was just waking up today, which could be possible.  Luckily my day got better once I got home from work, isn't that always the case.  How did my day get better?  Well I'm glad you asked.  I stopped at the store and bought all the sweets my body could possibly feel like eating in the next 48 hours.  Does the trick every time.

The last Harry Potter movie is in 3 days, so naturally it is all I can think about.  So instead of boring (scaring) you with my extreme excitement, I will just go back to my ABC Family Potter marathon.  Wishing you all a Harry Potter filled week!

Pink and More Pink

5 year old me is totally loving this outfit.  Pink, check.  More pink, check again.  If only I had on ruby slippers to complete my look (I may have been a tad obsessed with The Wizard of Oz, to the point where I told strangers my name was Dorothy).  Or a sparkly tutu.  And to be quite honest I am in the market for a tutu.  Is that a little too much for someone in their 20's?  Don't worry I won't wear it with my tiara and fairy wand, that would just be silly.  I'll save those for separate occasions.

Sun Tan

Do you see that tan? Try squinting a little, that may help.  Or go toss on your sunglasses, that will do the trick.  Ok it may not be visible to the naked eye, but I have the tan lines to prove it.  Normally my legs look like fluorescent light bulbs, but now they look like...a lighter wattage light bulb.  Hey, I'll take what I can get.
