Today was not my day.  My hair wasn't listening, my skirt wouldn't lay flat and my mind was about 2 steps behind at all times.  It's like I slept through Monday and I was just waking up today, which could be possible.  Luckily my day got better once I got home from work, isn't that always the case.  How did my day get better?  Well I'm glad you asked.  I stopped at the store and bought all the sweets my body could possibly feel like eating in the next 48 hours.  Does the trick every time.

The last Harry Potter movie is in 3 days, so naturally it is all I can think about.  So instead of boring (scaring) you with my extreme excitement, I will just go back to my ABC Family Potter marathon.  Wishing you all a Harry Potter filled week!

Pink and More Pink

5 year old me is totally loving this outfit.  Pink, check.  More pink, check again.  If only I had on ruby slippers to complete my look (I may have been a tad obsessed with The Wizard of Oz, to the point where I told strangers my name was Dorothy).  Or a sparkly tutu.  And to be quite honest I am in the market for a tutu.  Is that a little too much for someone in their 20's?  Don't worry I won't wear it with my tiara and fairy wand, that would just be silly.  I'll save those for separate occasions.

Sun Tan

Do you see that tan? Try squinting a little, that may help.  Or go toss on your sunglasses, that will do the trick.  Ok it may not be visible to the naked eye, but I have the tan lines to prove it.  Normally my legs look like fluorescent light bulbs, but now they look like...a lighter wattage light bulb.  Hey, I'll take what I can get.

Outdoors

Excuse my short post, but I am still exhausted from this weekend.  I'm also covered in bruises, scratches and mosquito bites.  The outdoors do not like me.  But Tosh.0 is on and I'm more than halfway done with my second 30 for 30, so I am a pretty happy camper.  FYI I am never an actual happy camper, as I stated above, the outdoors do not like me.

I am on the hunt for new glasses.  My current glasses are from freshman year of high school and are covered in scratches, they actually make my vision worse.  I remember going to pick them up with my mom, while we listened to Good Vibrations.  At the time I had a HUGE crush on Mark Wahlberg, it all started with The Italian Job, got even hotter with those Calvin Klein ads and then sizzled out a bit with Planet of the Apes.  It has been 8 years since I picked out those Calvin Klein frames (yes, my teenage mind thought that was a meaningful connection) so I think it is finally time to try out something new.  I have been looking at different frames online and stumbled upon the Warby Parker website.  They have the prettiest frames with a vintage touch and just that little bit of nerdy charm.  The kind of glasses you would love to slip on just before diving into a new book.  I have 5 pair to test out these next couple of days, so if you have a favorite let me know, it would be greatly appreciated.
